Banksia praemorsa 'Wine Red'
An absolutely fantastic species, growing into large 8-10' shrubs, with large, spindle-shaped buds, which open into waxy, wine-red, candle-like flower heads, mainly in winter and spring.
Grow in full sun and very well-drained soil. Adding some limestone in the bottom of the planting hole may be beneficial for succesful cultivation. Somewhat frost tender, especially when young. Hardy zones 9+.
We ship vigorous, young plants in 2" x 10" tube pots.
