An attractive species from Queensland and New South Wales, which naturally grows in sand, loam or shale, in open forest, woodland and heath. This lignotuberous variety grows to about 10' tall and wide, and has narrow, linear foliage with serrated margins, and lovely golden orange flower spikes. Closely related to B. ericifolia.

Grow in full sun to half shade and well-drained, rather heavy soil. A layer of sandstone under the roots may aid in better cultivation. May be heavily pruned to keep it tidy. Hardy zones 9-10.

We ship vigorous, young plants in 2" x 10" tubes.
