Venus Flytrap (Dionaea muscipula)
One of the most fascinating and famous of all plants. Native to the U.S.,(North Carolina, to be exact), the amazing Venus Flytrap is endangered in the wild but, with proper care, is quite easy to grow (and to be honest, quite easy to kill).
Excellent as a houseplant or terrarium subject. Special cultivation instructions are included.
We ship well-established, blooming-size plants in 3 1/4" pots.
**(PLEASE NOTE: As we cultivate our Venus Flytraps out in the open in full sun, from mid-autumn through mid-spring the plants may be in various stages of dormancy. They are exceptionally vigorous and healthy, and will resume growth immediately, if grown indoors. If grown out of doors, the plants will resume their natural growth pattern as the weather and season decides.)
