Large, 4-5" vivid orange and yellow, waxy, pincushion flower heads appear in the spring, on 4' tall shrubs ; the individual flowers can last for over 4 months! The attractive foliage is gray-green and lightly pubescent, on shrubs which grow 3-5' tall with a spread of 6-10'.
Cultivate in full sun, in very well-drained soil. Likes good air movement. Dislikes root disturbance. Hardy zones 9-10.
