(Genting, Peninsular Malaysia - 1000-2000 M.) Discovered in 1909
This popular species produces some of the darkest pitchers among the nepenthes; being nearly black with mint green interiors, 6" tall with very narrow peristomes.
Provide intermediate to cool temperatures, along with high moisture and light. (Natural night temperatures range from 73-58 degrees F.)
We ship vigorous young plants with 3-4" leaf spans, in 3 1/4" pots (see inset).
