Nepenthes singalana

(Belirang, Sumatra Barat - 2000-2900 M.)

Generally found growing as a terrestrial, N. singalana has really neat, richly colored, large, cylindrical lower pitchers. The dark maroon peristomes have heavily raised ribs and long, pronounced teeth. Upper pitchers are very cylindrical and yellow-green. An exceptional species that is quite rare, both in nature and cultivation.

Grow in highland to intermeidate conditions in high light, for best coloration. (Natural night temperatures range from 58-46 degrees F.)

We ship vigorous young plants with 3-4" leafspans, in 3 1/4" pots.
