Flowering from autumn to spring, this variety offers deep, cup-shaped heads of apple-green bracts with protruding, white to pink, wooly flowers; forming a crown (hence the name). Though the plants are rather untidy, the flowers are good for cut flowers.

Naturally grows in areas with high rainfall, in heavy clay soils. Grow in full sun and well-drained soil. Hardy zones 8-10.

We ship vigorous young plants in 1-gallon pots.
